Twitter has announced Curator, a powerful tool for broadcasters and online media providers to help them to even better take advantage of what Twitter has to offer. Twitter has developed to be an additional media to measure the pulse of the audience in real time and to transform  the “one-to-many” media TV into a true interactive experience. But with 500 million tweets posted everyday it has become hard to distinguish the relevant ones from the masses of messages exchanged. Curator will change that.

Curator is an enhanced search dedicated engine to search, filter and curate Twitter content. Once filtered by complex queries including hashtags. location, followers etc,  the high quality twits can then be pushed to any other media to display the most relevant Twits in real time. This will drive audience engagement, participation and attention. Designed primarily for news organizations, production companies, broadcasters, and live events anyone having gathered a substantial following on twitter could use the new curating tool to re-share the most relevant posts to any other distribution platform. Twitter Product Manager Matt Dennebaum revealed first insights into this new tool on the Twitter media blog.
